Johny Antony, known for his invincible lighthearted entertainers, wheels back to action this season with his brand new
offering ‘Cycle’. The hit-machine famous for doling out celluloid stuffs like ‘C I D Moosa’, ‘Kochi Raajavu’, ‘Thuruppu Ghulan’ and ‘Inspector Garud’, gets going this time with a young brigade of actors while James Albert styles out the classy script.

”Though I am in a new circuit, away from my regulars scriptwriters, this too will be my kind of film with songs, dances and hilarious moments. But through the film, I am trying to say a more serious storyline that will address the youth of today. The movie’s plot lines demand new faces and that is why I preferred to go for fresher, than the established faces”, says Johny Antony. The film has been shot in myriad locations counting Mumbai and Germany as well.

In ‘Cycle’ Antony goes on to recount yet another awe-inspiring tale, that caters to all ages and groups and has shopping complex as its milieu. Two wannabes, Roy (Vineeth Sreenivasan), an accountant in a private finance firm and Sanju (Vinoo Mohan), a sales man are the two pivotal characters here. Coming from a humble background hardly stops the two from dreaming big. Sanju, who is also a good cricketer, has his share of woes too, of not being able to make it to the state team.

Annie (Bhama) works at a travel agency posted in the same building. Meenakshy (Sandhya), the other heroine is the daughter of Kaustubhan (Jagathy Sreekumar), a banker by profession who also owns the shopping complex. Together the quartet engages into actions that make the film a delightful getaway.

“I had enjoyed the experience and had a lengthy discussion with my father before accepting the film. He loved the script very much and is waiting for the response of the audiences on my histrionic skills”, says singer turned actor Vineeth who makes his debut with this flick. Also starring Jagathy Sreekumar, Murali, Cochin Naneef, Saikumar, Salimkumar, Saadi, T G Ravi, Kunchan, Shobha Mohan, Arun and Rekha Pillai, this film is choc-a-bloc with many interesting events.

Sunny Kuruvila, T N Thilakan and Viswanathan are producing this film that has its music by Mejo Joseph and lyrics penned by Anil Panachooran. Shaji cranks the camera here while Renjan Abraham handles the editor’s task. The film hits the marquee this February 15th.
