‘Welcome’ comes as another comic affair from the stable of Anees Bazmee. It is about three infamous goons Uday Shetty (Nana Patekar), Majnu (Anil Kapoor) and their chief, Sikander (Feroz Khan), who are hell-bent to get their only sister Sanjana (Katrina Kaif) wedded into a reputable family.

Uday who accidentally bumps into eligible bachelor Rajiv (Akshay Kumar) instantly takes a liking for him as the best suitor for his dear sister. However, Rajiv’s uncle Dr. Ghunghroo (Paresh Rawal) opposes to this match owing to the unimpressive lineage of Sanjana’s family.

In the meantime, Sanjana oblivious to all the happenings back home meets Rajiv on shores and instantly falls for him. Together the two manage to spin out Dr. Ghungroo’s approval, who has little doubts about Sanjana’s lethal connections. But when he finally comes to know of it, it’s too late to make any amends. Then follows a volley of comically outrageous events as each brother device their own quirky way to convince Dr. Ghungroo of the match.

Just when everything seems to be falling into place, the entire plot takes a whirl with Mallika Sherawat entering the screen and claiming rights over Akshay Kumar as her fiancé that adds to further chaos and commotion in the ongoing events.

Who will ultimately marry Rajiv’s and will Dr. Ghungroo ever accept Sanjana as Rajiv’s bride are the questions to look forward to in this hilarious flick!
