Music director S A Rajkumar has composed a soundtrack dipped in Tamil flavour. Tamil element is evident in the songs as the film has been earlier made in Tamil as 'Punnagai Desam' about three years back. Thus the songs lack anything novel.
A chorus number comes at the initial of the album. 'Layliley' is rendered by Tippu on the lyrics of E.S.Murthy. Tippu has pronounced the Telugu lyrics with ease. This a friendship number which also has Arabic feel.
Next comes a romantic track 'Choosa Choosa' rendered by Udit Narayan and Rita. This duet number has lyrics by SA. Raj Kumar and A. Srinivas. This peppy number has got the right notations in the vocals of Udit Narayan.
SP. Balasubramaniam delivers ' Patale pranamani'. It is refreshing to hear him after a long time. The music has a 80s feel and it is rather heavy. Though SPB gives it his best, the song doesn't pass muster. Lyrics are by ES. Murthy.
A fast number is 'Thakadhimi'. This one is rendered by Rahul and Rita. The music hints that the track is meant for younger generation.
Rendered by Tippu, Srinivas, Gopika Poornima the next song 'Aakasam' is another song on friendship. The lyrics are by Anantha Srinivas.
Sounding very much like a fusion track is 'Kadha Kaadu'. The song is sung by Ranjith and the lyrics are by E.S.Murthy. As is the trend nowadays rap and traditional notes have been merged together.
Hariharan and Sadhana Sargam come together for a duet with the romantic number 'Mooga Manasu'. This is a monotonous number. The lyrics are by Anantha Sriram.
The album has some nice songs. It would be a ideal gift for your friends.
