Come this Diwali, and entire Kollywood will awake itself to the biggest release of the year ‘Azhagiya Tamil Magan’. Directed by Bharathan, this commercial casserole stars the prince of Kollywood, Vijay in the lead.

Vijay’s films are forever high on entertainment quotient, and going by the initial rushes of the film, this seems no different either. ‘Azhagiya Tamil Magan’ is neatly hemmed with vivacious songs, catchy one-liners, flamboyance and energetic stunts. It is said that this film is the most unfailing and amusing album for a Vijay's movie ever when it comes to music.

This film has its music by the whiz AR Rahman who simply stirs magic with his music here. The title track as well as the remix of the yesteryear hit ‘Ponmagal Vandhal’ has gone ahead to become a huge hit with the listeners.

Grapevine has it that this film stars Vijay in a double role. Shriya Saran and gorgeous Namitha are playing the love interest of the hero in the film. The film’s story is carefully kept under covers to keep up the interest of it but nevertheless it promises to be a real entertainer with unique storyline and stunts to it credit.

Buzz is that this is a film about a guy with extra powers who can foresee the future.
 
Bharathan believes that this film would be a real Diwali treat for all Vijay’s fans. He also maintains that one of the songs shot at Bangkok will prove to be the real show stealer.
