KS Adhiyaman’s films are always said to travail on the line of family premises. His films are more often than not rich in the emotional content and barely fails to strike a chord with the family audience.

The director is now back with ‘Thoondil’ that pride itself on the impressive starcast of Shaam, Sandhya and Dhivya a.k.a Ramya. The film is shot extensively in London. In this film, Sandhya dons the role of a mother while Shaam acts out the role of her husband.

Conversing on his latest venture, Adhiyaman blurts that this film is suited to family audience. He said that Kollywood has been witnessing a lot of action films lately and his film is sure to bring in a welcome relief for all his viewers.

Shaam is happy with the way the film has turned out and is optimistic of the film’s success. Dhivya who has sizzled in glamorous roles up till now has clinched a meaty role in the film. Her role is embellished with exciting twists and turns and makes for a great watch in the film. Vivek adds to the comical twist in the film.

Shaam who is full praise for the director states, “Director Adhiyaman deserves a pat for bringing out the best from me. He manages to get the desired results from his artistes.”

Abhishek Ray, who had earlier tried his hands at Bollywood, composes the tunes. Adhiyaman who is elated with the musical out put states, “All the songs have come out well and I am happy to introduce a fresh talent in Tamil cinema.”

The film is said to hit the circles sometime around Diwali.
