Malluwood’s four times national award winning director Jayaraj intercedes in Kollywood with his next big screen enterprise ‘Sila Nerangalil’. Hailed as a thriller, it is written by R Raj and marks an important event in Jayaraj’s golden career.

Conversing about his big cross-state move, Jayaraj blurts that he wanted to debut into Tamil film with a very unusual project and when he came across the story of ‘Sila Nerangalil’, he at once gave a nod to it.

Four young software professionals from US with deep love for celluloid offerings first conceived this enterprise and their strong will to materialize it led them to the nifty director. Vincent Ashokan has been roped in to play the protagonist in this flick.

Talking about his casting, the director utters that he found Vincent Ashokan suitable for the role. Even Navya, who is cast in the female lead, had no qualms in doing this ostensibly profound role.

Navya who is overwhelmed by her meaty role says,  “I consider myself fortunate to land in such roles with enormous scope to perform. A visually challenged character had always interested me. Jayaraj has immense faith in my abilities and I will do my best to vindicate his decision. There is a lot to be gained from the experience”.

Apart from Navya and Vincent Ashokan the film also stars Vineeth and Raghuvaran in equally generous roles.

Srikanth Deva has been entrusted with the music of this film. The music director has given his best shot here as he has come up with catchy nice melodies. Even the songs have been well choreographed. Jayaraj has experimented while shooting the songs.

Rajvel does cinematography while Sreekar Prasad does the editing. Muthuraj is responsible for art direction. Dialogues are by Pattukottai Prabhakar and lyrics are by Vairamuthu.

This film is going through its pre-release formalities and is expected to hit the big screen any time now.
