Aditya (Fardeen Khan) is a married man who keeps two birds - one in hand and the other in bush. He has a beautiful, traditional loving and caring wife Ashwini (Isha Koppikar) and a hush-hush affair with his sizzling hot office secretary Geeta (Esha Deol). He skillfully manages his two worlds out of which he derives as much pleasure as possible.

Everything sails smoothly until one day his girlfriend claims that she is bearing his child. Staggered by the news he finally confesses to her that he cannot leave his wife for her as he had promised earlier. Geeta is devastated and gets into an ugly fight with him, which ultimately leads to her accidental death.

Scared, Aditya dumps her body and returns back home believing that the worst is well past him. But he is absolutely wrong in thinking so as the nightmare has just begun. To his utter shock and horror, Geeta returns back but this time as a ghost who will not stop at anything to avenge her deceit.
