‘Yamadonga’ is directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by Cherry and Urmila Gunnam under the production banner of Viswamitra Creations. This film boast of a huge star cast including NTR, Priyamani, Mamata Mohandas as well as ace actor Dr M Mohanbabu and Khushboo. Keeravani arranges the music for this film. He mixes and matches the tracks to entice the audience from every segment. Anant Sriram and Jonnavithula pen the lyrics for the scores.

The number one track in the disc is ‘Rabbaru Gajulu’ a folk song rendered by credible singer from up North - Daler Mehandi. Keeravani arranges this track accordingly keeping in mind Daler’s unique style. A whole mixed bag of instruments ranging from keyboards, guitar, violin, shehnai and a host of other conventional ones make their way into this track. Ananth Sriram pens the lyrics accordingly keeping alive the zest of Daler’s voice.

‘Noonoogumeesaalodu’ is a melodious strain rendered by Keeravani and Sunitha. Keeravani liberally makes use of keyboard and guitar to zing it up. The feel of the song is somewhat old and violin further adds to its vintage feel. Ananth Sriram pens down the track.

‘Naachore’ is a peppy number induced with western beats. This is a hard-core dance track pepped up with incredible drumbeats. Ananth Sriram who once again pens for this track, freely incorporate many Hindi and Telugu words. Keeravani reduces instrumentation to the minimum with keyboard and drums reigning. Deepu and Ganga lend their voices.

Subsequently follows ‘Olammi Tikkareginda’ a remix version of late NTR’s ‘Yamagola’ rendered by NTR Junior and Mamata Mohandas. It is interesting to note the hero rendering this track and Keeravani skillfully makes the best use of it. The original tune of the previous song has been retained but the employment of musical gears has been altered.

Then follows ‘Nuvu Mutukunte’ which is an interesting blend of folk and melodious tunes garnished with a commercial touch. A western hum has been added to make it more arresting. KG Ranjith and Pranavi render it.

Later follows ‘Srikaraakarunda’ basically a poem. Mano’s rendition of this verse-song is commendable featured on Dr M Mohanbabu. Keeravani also deserves a huge applause for the way he composes it. Even the lyric by Jonnavithula is breath taking.

Shortly follows ‘Chalachallagaa Gaali’ another melodious track in offering. MM Keeravani and Sangeetha renders the song choreographed on Mohanbabu and Khushboo. Jonnavithula uses unsullied lyrics here.

Soon after comes ‘Bambhanaalaa Chumbanaala’ fashioned after classical tunes. Mano and Pranavi offers to playback. This song, which lasts only for a minute or so, has lyrics penned by Jonnavithula.

Lastly trails ‘Young Yama’ which opens with Keeravani pouring out in his melodious fashion. Here he is also joined by Mano, Shankar Mahadevan and Pranavi. Keeravani thrives on keyboard, guitar and drums for giving the music here.

The music of this film aptly goes with the storyline. Keeravani proves his versatility with this soundtrack. On the whole, a sound track that impresses.
