The story of ‘The Train’ trails the life of Vishal Dixit and all the bricks and banters that life hands down. Vishal’s uninteresting commonplace life takes a spin when he meets an attractive woman who lures him into a new world of love, lust and passion.
Vishal Dixit (Emraan Hashmi) is an ordinary middle class married man who lives in Bangkok with his wife Anjali (Sayali Bhagat) and their 5-year-old kid, Nikki. The relation between Vishal and Anjali isn’t very smooth as their marriage is running through rough patches.
One day on the way to work, Vishal happens to meet Roma (Geeta Basra), a lady with enticing beauty and is at once smitten by her extravagant splendor. The attraction between them is almost spontaneous. As he eventually gets to know her, he discerns that she too is a loner trapped in a loveless marriage like him. Their affinity for each other goes to such extent that they decide to cross all lines. While on one hand Anjali starts doubting him following his strange behavior on the other hand, Vishal’s love for Roma reaches its peek. Torn between two women Vishal loses his peace. Just when Vishal is convinced that every thing has fallen into place and nothing can go wrong now, he bumps into a major problem. He discovers that there is somebody who knows about his illicit relation and is hell bent in ruining his family and happiness by revealing the truth.
Vishal is quaked by the blackmailer’s threats and decides that the only way to get rid of this problem is to do away with his new foe.
But the major problem that arises is how could he get rid of somebody whom he has never seen. Whether he will succeed in saving his family and love or will he lose everything in the end forms the crux of this tale of love and betrayal.
