Rajan Malhotra (Tusshar Kapoor) is a typical good boy studying in a college. His life revolves around books and his sole concern is to study hard and score the top grades in his class. In short he is a complete bookworm. His fun means studies and he exempts himself from the kind of fun that rests have in their campus life. Even his parents are worried about his lack of interest in anything like sports or extracurricular activities.
Quite contrary to him is Raju Malhotra (Emraan Hashmi) who is the bad boy. He believes that life is for having fun and fun is his life. He strives hard to play hard and become the most popular and infamous prankster of the college. He just wants to have fun out there with his friends and keep studies in his second priority list. Even his dad is worried about his lack of interest in studies.
Thus the world of Rajan and Raju are completely different. Principal (Paresh Rawal) is a disciplinarian and wants to bring reforms in the college through his indigenous ways. To bring discipline in the campus he splits up the college into two halves – Good and Bad! As it should be Rajan gets into the 'good' half of the college whereas Raju into the 'bad' half. But that doesn’t happen because their files get swapped. It is a mayhem situation out there where Rajan finds himself trapped in the bad crowd with people who consider books are no good and Raju has only good people around him who hardly want to have some fun.
Soon they meet ‘bad girl’ (Tanushree Dutta) and a 'good girl' (Isha Sharvani) respectively. The lives Rajan and Raju change forever with the film also giving a real meaning of education! The fun events continue in their lives promising to keep you on the edge of humorous situations one after another.
