Movie Review : Allare Allari

Producer: Basheed SK
Director: Muppalaneni Siva
Cast: Allari Naresh, Mallika Kapoor, Parvathi Melton, Venu
Music: Chakri

Director Muppalaneni Siva is quite at home in delivering rib-tickling comedies and his latest release ‘Allare Allari’ is yet another jocular comic caper dished out by him. This low budget film starring Venu, Naresh, Parvati Melton and Mallika Kapoor is produced SK Basheed under the banner Bijju Art Productions. Muppalaneni Siva chooses factionism as the film’s milieu sans any bloodshed or bombastic heroic escapades.

This hilarious flick narrates the story of a woman Ramulakka (Telangana Sakuntala) who murders two men to avenge for her husband’s death. But before leaving for jail she hands over her only daughter Priya (Mallika Kapoor) and her nephew Anand (Venu) in her brother Bapineedu (Chalapati Rao) custody. She asks her brother to take good care of the children and also to get them married.

Anand grows up to be a reputed cardiologist while Priya prefers to stay back in the US with her uncle. But accidentally Anand ruins the marriage of Swati (Parvati Melton) and the girl goes after him asking him to marry her. Veerababu is the watchman of the apartment complex in which Anand stays. At the doggedness of all his neighbors, Anand finally decides to tie the knot with Swati.

In the meantime Ramulakka returns back from the prison and accidentally mistakes Veerababu as her son. Anand asks Veerababu to continue with the drama until the marriage is over. Meanwhile Veerababu falls in love with Priya. How the drama unfolds and the truth surfaces forms the crux of the tale.

Talking about the performances in the film, the heroes had their timing perfect that made the film all the more amusing. Even the heroines perfectly fitted the bill in their glamour-glazed roles.

Noted musician Chakri has come up with some nice symphonies for the film. The screenplay is taut but is a little loosely handled towards the beginning. Camera work by Prasad is skillfully done. Marudhuri Raja’s dialogues are witty and tickle out good amount of giggles and chortles out of the audience. Even the story by this talented writer is amusing and neatly done. The screenplay by the director is also craftily done that does not allow the attention of the audiences to drift away for a single second.

The director clearly shows his ingenuity in handling factionism with this flick. A whole two and a half hour of full-fledged entertainment is what the film guarantees.
