This is an entertaining thriller woven round two people who happen to miss out the local train of 1:40 am and will have to wait for next two and a half hour to catch the next train. The story wanders with a captivating drama where many stories are tightly knitted together. This is mainly the story of Nilesh (Abhay Deol) a call center executive and how his missing the train proves to be a turning point in his life.
Nilesh runs into Madhu (Neha Dhupia) who too have missed the 1:40 train. As there is an auto strike, the two will have to wait for the next train to arrive. Together they head towards a bar to kill some time until the next train arrives. Series of events follows one after another, some wacky and some pleasant. Delicate and dim hilarity arise surprise and so does the ambiguity and anticipation that follows as the film gathers pace and Nilesh’s life moves to fast track.
This is a tentative and unruly film with shocking twists and turns running through the plot. Nilesh struggles endlessly with circumstances for nearly two and a half hours and emerges victorious as the owner of two and a half crores at the end of hour. This stimulating witty mental drama takes the viewers on a perplexing journey, cracked with memorable characters and arresting presentation.
