‘Don't Stop Dreaming’ is directed by Aditya Raj Kapoor, son of the legendary Bollywood director, Shammi Kapoor. The cast of the film includes Bollywood actors Rishi Kapoor and Suniel Shetty, along with Footballers' Wives actress Laila Rouass, Eastenders actor Ray Panthaki, Michelle Collins and Richard Blackwood. The music for this film is by popular singer Taz of Stereo Nation who also acts in this film.
'Don't Stop Dreaming' is an entertaining comedy that is set in a city and graphs the rise of a multicultural urban music band. The group has been ensemble and managed by the energetic female vocalist Gabby. Channi is a horrible alcoholic lead singer who is a street sweeper by day. Jimmy is a Jamaican obsessed with Elvis and leaves his job at the sound equipment store to join the band as the lead guitarist. There is the Chinese drummer named Bobby. There are also waitresses who have left their jobs to become backing singers in the band. Shani is a white guitar-playing hippy imbibed with Indian culture. Lucky is a bank robber running away from his former bosses.
The group of eccentric people and would-be pop stars merges together to create music fusing east and west. Their only strive is to escape the monotonous jobs and do something in life and for that they are ready to break the rules and go against the wishes of their parents.
With these pop aspirants make it to the top together? What is in store for them watch in this entertaining comedy. Some of the scenes have been shot at Thornbury Hall in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
