Deepika (Bhavana) is a very rich, spoiled brat, with lots of attitude, who makes the call in the Medical College she studies. She is the only sister of Kasi (Prakash Raj), the dreaded local don and literally the students, professors and even the Dean of the college are afraid of her. He can do anything for his sister and for her admission at the Medical College he had killed a merit admission student with the same name, in the presence of the Education Minister. Kasi is famous for running legal and illegal business in the city.

Arya (Madhavan) is a final year student. He comes to Chennai Medical College after getting transfer from Coimbatore. He can be said as a perfect gentleman, a law-abiding citizen living with his loving mother and sister. Arya’s first day in college begins with a rift with Deepika because he parks his bike next to her car and doesn’t wish her ‘Good Morning’.  Deepika is furious about this and she destroys his bike and kidnaps his sister to revenge him. Arya doesn’t smolder and pays her back in the same way. He stands upto her and this impresses her. She falls in love with him and says her brother to marry her to him anyhow. But Arya is not willing to marry the sister of a rowdy. Kasi and Deepika now vow to turn him into a rowdy. They go around pressuring Arya but he doesn’t succumb to it. He keeps going on the strength of his wit and brains to lie out a trap for the don. How he does it forms the crux of the story!
