The nonconformist director of Tollywood, Teja’s next big screen undertaking is ‘Lakshmi Kalyanam’ starring Kalyan Ram. Both the director and actor have been struggling for a hit for quite sometime and have placed all their hopes in their latest enterprise.

It has been noted with Teja’s past few releases that his films are gradually losing its shine. Known for delivering daring films, his last few releases have failed to live up to the expectations of the audience.

But the director is very optimistic about his latest venture that he packs with the right pinch all elements necessary to make a film commercially tasteful.

Discussing his latest film, the director states that this film has a smart spread of actions and sentiments that will cater to all segments of cinemagoers. This film stars debutante actress Kajal in the lead role while Suhasini plays a cameo.

Continuing to discuss his film Teja says that this film displays the nuptial traditions in the rural community together with cockfights and bullock cart chase that comes during the marriage spell. The director is confident that although the plot is based on a rural theme, nevertheless it will be appreciated by all urban dwellers.

One of Tollywood’s as well as Teja’s favorite music director R. P. Patnaik has come up with eight situational tracks for the music album. Another eminent musician Manisharma handles the re-recording of the tracks.

This film apart from Kalyan Ram and Kajal, boasts of a huge starcast that includes Ajay, Sayaji Shinde, Avinas, Raghubabu, Srinivasa Reddy, Duvvasi Mohan, Lakshmipati, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Tulasi, Telangana Sakunthala.

Both the actor and the director are hopeful of this film’s success. But the real verdict will be out only after the audience head to the theatres. This film will hit the stands by next week.
