The story is about Leelatharan a.k.a. Lee (Sibiraj) a happy go lucky guy who hangs out with his group of friends who do all kind of miscellaneous jobs to fend a living. In their spare time they like to take to the fields to chase the football. This is a strongly united team with a great mental efficiency. Chellam (Nila), a worker in a facility for the mentally challenged, is also kind of a groupie. Life is easy for them as long as they don’t aspire to assassinate a minister. But their enterprise fail and Chillam is astounded as to why these young boys vie to enter into politics.

The reality surfaces back in the college where Lee and his fellows are all set to conquer the field. Their mentor Butthiran (Prakash Raj) is an unswerving coach who is the spine of the team. Everything sails smoothly when an unexpected hurdle appears in form of Rangabashyam (Jahir), a despicable man and college principle, who wants his son to become a part of this winning soccer team. Rangabashyam does everything to dart the boost of Lee and his boys. Things stretch to such extent that one of the players assign to suicide and the team steadily slices apart. In the meantime, Rangabashyam moves in the upward ladder in politics and ends up becoming a Minister.

Now everything rounds up. But one question still remains unanswered, what is the end result of this rivalry and does Chellam ever get to understand the motive behind their actions?
