Malayalee Cinematographer Amal Neerad who debuted in Malluwood with Renjith’s ‘Black’ and later aided RGV in his Bollywood enterprises turns director with his first film that stars Malluwood superstar Mammootty. Shahul Hameed and Anto Joseph produce this flick under the banner of Marikkar Films.

This is a slightly novel story that mainly budges around Bilal John Kurishingal (Mammootty), adopted son of Mary John Kurisingal (Nafeeza Ali), a teacher and a social worker who mothers three more adopted children coming from altogether different backgrounds.

Bilal, Mary’s eldest son grows up to be a brave and fearless man with strong determination and courage. Owing to some inconsequential situation, Bilal has to leave Kochi, his hometown and move to Mumbai where he becomes the trusted bodyguard of underworld mafias. After serving them for a long period of seventeen years, Bilal decides to come back home to equate many unsolved fractions. Here he reunites with his brothers and what follows next forms the bottom line of this story.

Amal Neerad pens down this unusual story with debutante R Unni handling the screenplay. Samir Thahir, Amal’s chief assistant debuts as a cinematographer here.

Mammootty dons entirely new look for this flick where he clads himself with steel chains and experiments with different hairstyles. Tamil actor Pasupathy makes his debut in Malluwood with this flick where he plays Balaji, an I.P.S. officer.

Manoj K Jayan, Bala and Summit Naval enact the role of other three brothers of Bilal. Innocent, Vijayaraghavan, Manianpilla Raju, Mamta, Sreejith Ravi, Anoop, Vinayakan, Manasa, and Leena forms the rest of the cast.
 
Alphonse arranges the music for this extraordinary flick with lyrics penned down by Santhosh Varma and Joshy Tharakan. This film also includes a song that features nearly thirty Russian and French artistes - a novel attempt in Malayalam cinema.
