Famous for doing remakes, Dr. Rajasekhar’s latest film in the conduit is ‘Evadaithe Naakenti’, a remake of the Malayalam super hit 'Lion'. Jeevitha, his wife in conjunction with V Samudra is directing this film, being produced by Soma Chandrasekhar Reddy under the banner Kaushik Movies. This movie is another political cliffhanger with high-current strokes.

Surya (Rajasekhar) is a Major in Indian Army who comes back home on a holiday. His father, Bal Gangadhar (Raghuvaran) is the education minister of the state who joins up with the lethal DNK (Kalabhavan Mani) to plunder the state wealth. But this man has no qualms about his evil doings since he is just a small pawn in the big league of opportunists that plague the nation.

Surya is a very virtuous soul who highly condemns the various nefarious activities carried on by his father and brothers-in-law (IAS/IPS officers). Unable to take the injustice on his stride, this young man jumps into the filthy arena of politics to uphold the rights of the poor. Gradually he becomes a hero in the eyes of the commoners and finally when he contests against his father for the polls as an independent candidate, he manages to bank in maximum number of votes. He wins by a huge bulk, and when his hold up becomes the key to a party getting a majority, he parleys for himself the home ministry.

The entire political system and administration faces a revolution, as Surya becomes the home minister. This righteous minister goes about reorganizing the police department, sanctioning the cops and pitching everyone from petty eve-teasers to the kith and kin of MLA’s in lockup.

This film is slated for a December release.
