‘Desamuduru’ is Puri Jagannath’s next film in the offering featuring Allu Arjun who has earlier rocked Tollywood with his numerous blockbuster hits. Chakri who also has numerous chart-buster hits to his credit arranges for the soundtrack of this flick. Here he supplies tracks that appeal to the masses without compromising on the melody.
The album starts with ‘Ninne Ninne’, crooned out by Chakri in a gruffy tone. This track is rich in beats and is evenly tempered with a folksy tinge. The drum thuds produce a feisty appeal while guitar strums fill in the interludes. Kausalya’s rendering is praise-worthy as well.
‘Gili..Giligaa.. Gil Gillinthagaaa’ is crooned out by Devan and Andria. This track unfolds with a western hum and then proceeds in Telugu. There is a novelty in the track with the various twists and turns. The application of bass guitar is worth listening to. The western whine before the second stanza is all the more refreshing.
Next comes ‘Satte’ purred by Ranjith. This is a real good dancing number with playful beats. The lyrics are philosophically motivated. Overall a groovy track.
Follows ‘Gola’ an archetypal Chakri song. This one is a group song where Kausalya’s raspy voice perfectly gels with Raghu’s tunes. Traces of Himachal Pradesh’s folknote are evident in this track. Drum beats spice up and makes it a real good dance number.
Then comes the track ‘Manasuley’ where Chakri once again unites with Kausalya to deliver. This track is rich in melody with a slightly rapid tempo. Kausalya’s rendition in her usual raspy voice imparts a different charm to it. Drums, guitar and keyboard unite to deliver a great piece of music.
The last song to feature in this album is ‘Attantode’ which is another crowd piece. This is the title track for the movie and hence Chakri leaves no chance to make it a booming track. He combines an entire assortment of instruments ranging from guitar, drums, shehnai, clarinets violins and what not to produce the desired effect. This track is a rocking piece of music that is certain to get the audience rocking.
The album for this flick is very audience friendly and will go down well with the dance freaks. Overall, a jazzy album!
