Movie Preview : Aalvar (2006)

Producer: Mohan Natrajan
Director: Chella
Cast: Ajith, Asin
Music Director: Srikanth Deva

When a pair succeeds, they are likely to be repeated. So, it is quite natural for Ajith and Asin of 'Varalaru' fame to join hands again. Their combo has raised expectations again. Moreover, they must be looking forward to continue the good run they have been enjoying so far. ‘Aalvar’ could put them on a higher platform.

In the film, Ajith plays the role of an angry man who fights for the welfare of the people. He comes to know the atrocities taking place in the hospital through his friend (Vivek), who works as a ward boy. So, he is determined to do away with all these evils. He joins the hospital as a ward boy and the rest is how he takes on the evil. Asin plays the role of a college student.

Chella, a one-time associate of director S J Suryah makes debut as director through this film. He revealed that Ajith accepted to act in the film after suggesting a few changes. He added that Aalvar portrays a fearless man who works for the good of the society. He also said that it has right dose of humor and romance besides action.

Mohan Natrajan produces it and Srikanth Deva has composed good music with right mix of rhythm and melody. It also boasts of popular Malayalam actor Lal playing the role of the villain.
