Director Sundar C is back doing what he does best, and that is direction after his stint as hero in ‘Thalainagaram’. Madhavan and Reema Sen, the hot pair of ‘Minnalae’ has come together for this film once again. Telugu actress Anushka plays the other heroine. The other cast of the film includes Manivannan, Bhagyaraj, Vadivelu and Hari Raj.

‘Rendu’ is a fun-filled entertainer that depends predominantly on comedy. The director said that it has all the ingredients of a comical entertainer with hero Madhavan’s skills blending well with that of Vadivelu. He added that Reema Sen and Anushka have given justice to their roles. He is very confident that the audience will love it.

Madhavan is all praise for the director. “It is a great experience working with Sundar C. His style of working did amaze me. Humor comes spontaneously to him. I am confident that ‘Rendu’ will be a film to cherish in my career,” he said. He added that the unity and hard work of the film unit would be rewarded at the box-office. Khushboo produces it and D Imman has composed six energetic numbers.
