Director Ameer is known for making films that blends reality and entertainment. He won lots of critical acclaims for his film ‘Ram’ and it was screened at various film festivals. This time, he is introducing actor Suriya’s brother Karthi as a hero through this new film titled ‘Paruthiveeran’. Priyamani has been chosen to play the female lead role.

The film is all about a young man fighting for the welfare of his village. It is said to be inspired by a real life incident and was shot in remote villages in Madurai district. The director said that he will never make compromise on the quality and added that taking time to come with a complete entertainer is not wrong.

Ameer produces the film on his home banner Team Work besides directing it. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music and Ramji’s cinematography are said to be among the highlights of the film.
