‘Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana’ is an all-women film starring divas Rekha, Mahima Chaudhary, Kim Sharma and Vasundhara Das promises you all fun. The film also has its share of male members Ashmit Patel, Nikhil Chinnappa, Kabir Sadanand and Sachin Khedekar though they are relegated to the background. Directed by Amar Butala, the film has music composed by Iqbal Darbar and Yasin Darbar.

The title track 'Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana' begins with the rendition by Sunidhi Chauhan and Jaspinder Narula. The blend of the vocals of both the singers makes this number pleasant. Although there are some old fashioned bhangra beats and run of the mill lyrics by Saahil Sutanpuri, this is nonetheless an entertaining number.

Hear to a peppier version of the same track in DJ Suketu styled remix of the song. The English chip in and good use of instruments makes this a likeable effort.

Next arrives the love song 'Jaanam' rendered by Shaan and Sadhna Sargam. The singers and the music definitely raises the bar of your expectations, and the song stands on that as well, making it another decent track to hear though nothing exceptional. The song is melodious by Bollywood standard and the singers do a good job. A.M. Turaz pens some conventional words apt for romantic tracks. The song comes in three more versions- two shorter and a sad number, applicable to the situation in the film.

'Abhi Abhi' does make you sit up and notice as this Udit Narayan and Ayesha Darbar romantic track goes to make a mark. Rhythm and melody are the highpoints of the track. Written by A.M. Turaz, it does have essence of the 90s, but this feel good song make a place in your heart.

Rekha revives the nostalgia of yesteryears track 'Din Dhal Jaaye' from ‘Guide’ crooning it in her vocals in this unplugged version. But there is a veritable difference between both the tracks in terms of pace and instrumentation. Most probably a situational track in the album, Rekha does a good job and her effort is appreciable.

Rahul Seth, Suzanne and Vasundhara Das sets the clock ticking rock n roll with the rap'n'reggae track 'Kamre Mein Aaja' which is thoroughly enjoyable. The singers delight singing in their husky vocals and the song promises that it would surely be wrapped by the masses. The song originally composed by Saanj has been recreated here with the lyrics by A.M. Turaz.

There is another version of the same song brought to you by Shaan lapped up with loads of energy, which keeps the fun going. Saahil Sultanpuri pens the track this time. Suzanne also adds to this foot tapping score. That’s not all, this high-energy track comes in a third remix version called the 'Electro Probe Mix'. This club fusion mix with Nikhil Chinappa and DJ Nawed is absolutely rocking with a groovy punch that stays with you.

With no expectations from the music of the film, there is certainly surprise in store for you as you set out with some nice mix of songs. The music is fun filled and entertaining and is surely on its way to delight you.
