Suhaan Kapoor (Salman Khan) is a cool wannabe star who wants to make it big as a rock star. He is a college stud, absolutely perfect, a charming man and a womanizer. He is a young dude, full of life and dreams. He wakes up to reality only when he is on the verge of losing everything.

Agastya Rao (Akshay Kumar) is an intelligent guy, sweet and simple, shy but adorable, a geek, can be spotted in spectacles, and frilled shirt. He has the ability that can make many women drool after him. But the problem is that he cannot speak his feelings to the woman he loves. Rather he cannot communicate with any girl. He believes in the power of love and feels that he will achieve everything through it.

Piya Goyal (Preity Zinta) is a mix of beauty, brains, wealth, strength and vulnerability. She has some sadness she can never forget. She is a college beauty with every guy pinning after her.

Suhaan, Agastya and Piya study in the same college. Both Suhaan and Agastya love Piya. But they never reveal their feelings and after college all three of them part ways.  Ten years passes by. Suhaan has fulfilled his ambition and has everything except love. Agastya too with his hard work and helping others is a contented man, but still searching for love. Piya is alone and she didn’t have any luck in love as well.

And then one day all three of them meet… suddenly!
