Don (Shah Rukh Khan) is the king of the world of crime. He is the ruthless drug mafia in Malaysia and the dangerous chase begins by a huge Indian body to trail him. In one of the hound he gets badly injured in a police encounter. Soon everyone assumes him to be dead. But the truth is actuality that he is being held captive in a secret location and his look-alike Vijay is now groomed akin to him to take over his gang and pretend like him.

But in a strange turn of event the man taking care of the humble Vijay gets killed and he now stands tall both before the police and the gang who are now after him for different reasons. He is desperate to prove his innocence. Helping him in the aid is Roma (Priyanka Chopra) and Jasjit (Arjun Rampal) who wants to repay him back for taking care of his son while he was in the jail. But will Vijay be able to free himself and fulfill his purpose?
