It looks like whatever comes out from AR Rahman’s mouth would turn into melody. People expect only the best when he gets into a new project. He has not disappointed anyone this time too by composing soothing and melodious numbers for the album of ‘Nuvvu Nenu Prema’. He has also rendered a melodious number. The film has Suriya, Jyothika and Bhoomika in the lead roles. K.E. Gnanavel is the producer and Krishna is the director.

“Ammdadini Chusesthi” is a mass number with folk touch rendered by Dr Siva Chidambaran, Gomathi, Naresh Iyer, Thedhi Kunjaramma and Vignesh. It has high values of mass rhythm and a bit of Tamil feel. Different accent of the singers gives a different flavor to the number. The audience will surely love AR Rahman's music.

“Preminche Premava” is a melodious duet beautifully sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Naresh Iyer. It is about the love between two lovebirds with high literary values. You can relax and enjoy the song as it comes. The music director has provided a different feel to the song by making Shreya hum at the end of the song.

Music maestro A R Rahman himself sings this number “Newyork Nagaram”. It is a melodious solo number with sound of guitar and clarinet in the backdrop. The lyrics are about the nostalgic feelings of an NRI and it has good literary value. A R Rahman himself has rendered it so sweetly.

“Jil Jillumanna Prema” is the title song of the films and a chivalrous number with the heroine singing it in a playful manner. Tanvil has rendered it and she has mimicked a child's voice in some part. She has done good job in both forms. AR Rahman has used bass guitar and trumpet besides other instruments in this number.

“Maja Maja” is a duet song that would have night as the backdrop. SPB Charan and Shreya Ghoshal have rendered it. The husky voice indicates that the couple is in romantic mood. The lyrics also elevate the passion between the romantic pair.

The number “Bangaraanni” sounds like an item number going by the beats and lyrics yet there is literary values too in the lyrics. Shankar Mahadevan and Suneela Sarathi have sung it beautifully. This number could give lots of scope for the artistes to showcase their dancing skills.

“Gandharvam” is yet another melodious number rendered by singers Carolisa, Mohammad Aslam, Krishna and Sayanora. It also has literary values intact in it and the sound of broken glass gives freshness to the number besides revealing the excellent recording of sound. Rahman has used bass guitar, shehnai kind of sound and good drumbeat in the backdrop, thus making it possible for the audience to tap their feet to its beat.

To sum up, A R Rahman has once again proved his mettle. He knows how to win hearts with melody and he has won this time too.
