Going with the title, ‘Classmates’ is a campus story that revolves around a group of friends. It has Indrajith, Jayasuriya, Kavya Madhavan, Naren and Prithviraaj in the lead roles. Muraleedharan and Prakash Harikrishnan are producing it and Lal Jose is directing it.

The film is all about a batch of students working in different parts of the world who come together to revive the joy and fun they had in college. Sukumaran (Prithviraj) is a student leader and Satheesan Kanjikuzhy (Jayasoorya) is the leader of the rival gang. Vasu (Vijeesh) is his trusted friend, Indrajith is from well-to-do family and Thara Kurup (Kavya Madhavan) is a dancer and daughter of the local MLA. Rasiya (Radhika) and Koshi (Anoop) are also in the group. Murali (Narain), who is a singer insists that the group meet again after ten years after completing their graduation. However, Murali dies while in college. Now, his parents make sure that the friends meet again.

The film also has Balachandra Menon and Sobha Mohan in the cast. Alex Paul has composed the music with lyrics written by Vayalar Sarat Chandra Varma and Rajeev Ravi has handled the camera. It is slated for release on August 25.
