Mammootty seems to want action to do the talking, as his next film ‘Prajapathy’ is said to be a complete action thriller. It has Kannada actress Adithi Rao in the female lead role. Valiyaveettil Siraj produces it and Renjith directs it.

‘Prajapathy’ is said to be packed with action sequences. It depicts the clash of two rival families. There is a village that is controlled by a person named Devarmattom Narayanan. His word is the final, and disobedient people are thrown out of the village. He rules with iron hands but all for the good of the people. He is simple and loving at heart. However, there is another village where his uncle and enemy Mooppil Kunjmbu Nair is the monarch. The story of the film is all about the fights between these families.

Mammootty plays the lead role of Devarmattom Narayanan in the film. It also has actors like Saikumar, Srinivasan, Siddique, Karthika and Seema playing various important roles. Azhagappan has handled the camera and Tejh Mervin has composed the music with lyrics written by Girish Puthancherry.
