Ankush (Abhay Deol) and Megha (Soha Ali Khan) are complete strangers and meet at the crossroads of their life in the unusual and unanticipated circumstance. This was the first time they were meeting and they were very different from each other. So love was the thing that they least expected between them. Megha has just suffered heartbreak and she was not ready for another one. She loved Dheeraj (Shayan Munshi) very much, who had ditched her at the last moment after promising to marry her. She has fled from her hometown Nainital to Delhi and was supposed to see Dheeraj outside the registrar's bureau but he never turned up. In this new city she knew no one and had nowhere to go. After meeting Ankush she found that there was so much difference between him and Dheeraj. He was a simple young man earning a few hundreds becoming witness for young couples at Delhi's marriage registrar's bureau, yet he was very contented, unselfish and kind.

At this tormenting time of her life Ankush became her strength. He got her a job at an age-old house in Delhi. He started doing more hard work and became a bank representative. Both of them moved ahead gaining confidence and bagged the best opportunity. Ankush soon got the job of an Assistant Manager. Their association also started taking a different shape and there grew fondness in the heart for each other. And all of this...ahista ahista! But now Dheeraj had returned and wanted Megha back. This is the time they had to prove their love for each other. What would Megha, Dheeraj and Ankush do?
