‘KD’ is a triangular love story with Ileana, Ravi Krishna and Tamanna playing the lead roles. Director Jyothi Krishna has succeeded in making a good entertainer. A M Rathnam produces it and Yuvan Shankar Raja scored the music.
Raghu (Ravikrishna) is a happy-go-lucky college student, who only thinks of having good time with friends and hardly bothers about academics. However, his life changes after meeting Priyanka (Tamanna), who is the sister of a powerful State Minister Pughazhenthy (Atul Kulkarni). This rich and arrogant girl is not in good terms with Raghu. However, he meets another classmate Aarthi (Ileana) and they develop a relationship. Aarthi begins to change his behavior and makes him studious. Now, they fall in love with each other. In the meantime, Priyanka is all out to separate the couple by all means and is ready to use her power, influence and money for it. Will the girl succeed in separating the lovebirds? Watch the film to know the answer.
Ravikrishna has done his role as a college student really well and the stunts are also fine. His body language suits the character to the ‘T’. Heroine Ileana looks cute on the screen but it is debutante Tamanna who walks away with all the honors. She has done her role as a rich girl really well and her body language is commendable. Actors like Atul Kulkarni, M S Baskar, Ramesh Khanna and Suman Shetty are also in the cast.
The first half of the film is full of youth while the second half is filled with emotions and sentiments. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s catchy music also has added beauty to the film. However, it is director Jyothi Krishna who deserves all the praises and accolades for coming out with such a good entertainer.
