‘Raagam’ is a dubbed version of Bollywood film titled ‘Morning Raga’, which has Perizaad Zorabian, Prakash Rao and Shabana Azmi in the lead roles. Director Mahesh Dattani has got the courage to reach out to the parallel cinema lovers. Raghavendra Rao K is the producer and Mani Sharma is the music director.

‘Raagam’ is a musical film that tells about the dramatic story of a Carnatic singer. A singer loses her son and close friend in a tragic bus accident while setting out to the city to fulfill her ambition. This very tragedy keeps haunting her even after twenty years since the accident happened. However, the son of her death friend along with the daughter of bus driver involved in the accident wants to start a musical band with her help. The rest of the film is on her life after meeting the duo.

Amit Hering and Mani Sharma have composed some soothing jazz and Carnatic music for the album. Rajiv Menon is the cinematographer and Sreekar Prasad is the editor.
