Director Bhanu Shankar has successfully come out with a complete family entertainer through ‘Vallidhari Vayasu Padhahaare’. This love story also gives out a strong message to all the teenagers of the new generation. In fact, the director deserves a warm pat from the back for this wonderful work.
Vamsee (Tarun Chandra) is a happy-go-lucky teenager. Puja’s (Devaki) breezy dance in the windy Vizag Park catches Vamsee’s attention. He proposes her and she accepts his love without second thought. These teenagers start off their romantic life then and there. Now, time has at last come for them to let their parents know about their affair. In the meantime, they land up in jail, shocking both their parents. They want them to earn before tying the knot. This makes them to take the extreme step of committing suicide. Their friends save them from possible tragedy. Now, the lovers force their parents to register their marriage. However, a series of events turn the aura to something different with Vamsee's mother sending a strong message for everyone to know.
Debutantes Tarun Chandra and Devaki, who played teenagers deserves special mention. They have done their role with lots of conviction and their onscreen chemistry is commendable. Jayasudha, Suhasini, Raghuvaran and Sirisha have all done well. Telangana Shakuntala and Venumadhav’s comedy track and Marudhuri Raja’s dialogues are impressive. Kalyani Malik’s musical composition is also brilliant.
In nutshell, director Bhanu Shankar has made ‘Vallidhari Vayasu Padhahaare’ a complete entertainer. Film lovers should not miss this film.
