Priyadarshan has come out with the Hindi version of his hit Malayalam movie ‘Punjabi House’. ‘Chup Chup Ke’ is a comedy film with a tinge of sadness. Shahid and Kareena play the main character. Himesh- Sameer team takes care of the music department.

Jeetu ( Shahid Kapoor) is a man in debt. He tries all possible means to pay off his debts. But each effort lands him in more debt.  After struggling fruitlessly to come up in life, Jeetu decides to end it so that his father could pay off all the debts with his insurance amount.  With that intention he jumps to the sea, but is saved by two fishermen Bandya (Paresh Rawal) and Gundya (Rajpal Yadav). To keep his identity hidden from these men Jeetu acts like a deaf and dumb person. With no option left, these fishermen take him to their moneylender (Om Puri). They keep him as a pawn with the moneylender in exchange of the money they owe.
 
Here also ill fate haunts Jeetu. The money lender’s niece is a deaf girl ( Kareena). She and her friend have an instant liking for this guy.  Jeetu gets well with all of them. But one day in a drunken mood he gives himself away. Is this the end of his troubles? Can he pay off his debts? All these things will be revealed to you slowly after much twist and turn.

Chup Chup Ke will be released in June. Wait and watch!
