'Dhoolpeta' is a dubbed version of Tamil film ‘Puthupettai’. It has Dhanush, Sonia Agarwal and Sneha in the lead roles. Director Selvaragava has focused on the dark side of human life in this film too by digging deep into underworld life in Chennai city.

The director brings to light the dynamics of violence in the film. It has a tag – ‘Survival of the fittest’. It is about an innocent boy becoming a goon and his evolution as a person. The director has beautifully treated this sensitive film with right dose of commercial elements.

Dhanush plays the lead role in the film and Sonia Agarwal plays his wife. Meanwhile, Sneha plays the role of a commercial sex worker. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is one of the highlights of the film and Aravind Krishna has handled the camera well.

The dubbed version of Selva’s earlier films like ‘Thulluvatho Ilamai’ and ‘7 G Rainbow Colony’ done well at the box-office in Tollywood, so, the expectations are high on ‘Dhoolpeta’ too.
