Producer: N.Surya Prakash Rao Director: Surya Kiran Cast: Jagapati Babu, Neha Oberoi, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Aashish Vidyarthi Music: Vybhav
Director Surya Kiran has tried to give out a different storyline for ‘Bramahastaram’ by concentrating on Jagapathi's two-dimensional characters. However, it lacks the rush that Jagapathi's movies usually have. The story moves at a very slow pace.
Villain Rudra (Ashish Vidyarthi) uses Guru (Jagapathi Babu) as a weapon against his enemies. He molds him from childhood for this purpose. However, his enemies succeed in separating him from Guru. Now, Guru’s life takes a different turn. He falls in love with Gayathri (Neha) and becomes a normal human being. He also comes to know that Gayathri's father kills his mother. The rest of the story is on revenge he takes up.
Jagapathi Babu has given justice to his role and so too is his heroine Neha Oberoi. Villain Ashish Vidyarthi, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Kusuma have all done good job. Brahmanandam and Venu Madhav’s comedy tracks are also fine. The technical aspect of the film is good with soothing music by Vaibhav and excellent camera work. It would have been much better if not for slow story narration and weak screenplay.
On the whole, it is worth watching. It has lots of action to keep you sit up.
