Film director S V Krishna Reddy has got the guts to put in extra efforts in order to showcase his musical prowess. He has scored the music of ‘Mayajaalam’ and it is rhythmic and melodious. Srikanth and Poonam Kaur play the lead roles in this film produced by Venkat.

The album starts with a kind of techno song titled “Ringingakka”. It’s a funky number with lots of rap and it sounds like a popular western number. S P Eshwar and Tina Kamal have sung well. It has a rocking rhythm that sounds pleasant to the ear.

“Abbai” is a peppy number with fast rhythm and beat. It also has a soothing chorus.  Kushi Muralidhar and Sumangali have rendered it well. Sumangali’s voice in the song is exceptional. This is a good song that will go down well with the audience.

The song “If You Want” is a mass number with right mix of softness and lilt. It is a different kind of song with English lyrics. The touch of carnatic music, interludes and feel of softness all through has made the song interesting. The way Ganga and Sagar sing with vigor has made all the difference to the number.

“Hot Summer” is once again a mass number with heavy rhythm. Music director Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to render this song and he has done good job along with young singer Mathangi. There is fun all through in spite of its silly lyrics.

“Teeyaga” is a simple melody with traditional touch. Young singers Kaundinya and Sankrithi have rendered it beautifully by providing right feel. It’s a simple yet sweet song.

Director S V Krishna Reddy has brought out the other side of his personality through this album. He has the potential to become a good composer.
