Bharat has done a good job in ‘Maha’. The story, onscreen chemistry of the lead pair and climax scene is enough to draw film buffs into the theatres. Yuvan Shankar Raja's soothing music is one of the strengths of the film.
Maha aka Mano (Bharat) comes to Vizag to get his love Nandini (Deepu), a television journalist from Prem (Arunkumar), a Ranji trophy player. Interestingly, Jyotilaxmi aka Jo (Mallika Kapoor) is in love with Prem. Now, Maha and Jo join hands to split Prem and Nandini, and they succeed. However, Prem falls into Maha’s trap and lands in the net of the police, which upsets Jo. To settle the score, Maha works as Prem’s driver and tries to bring Jo back to his life. Does Maha go to Vizag to get Nandini or someone else? Will he achieve in bringing Jo and Prem together? Watch the film to know these unanswered questions.
Bharat’s performance in the film is commendable. He knows what his character requires. Mallika Kapoor is pretty, energetic and bubbly. She has done well even in emotional scenes. Other actors like Arunkumarm and Deepu have done full justice to their roles. Prakash Raj’s special appearance is also cool. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is one of the highlights of the film.
On the whole, it is a good entertainer.
