Producer: Parthipan Director: Parthipan Cast: Parthipan, Namitha Music: Sabesh Murali
Parthipan has not hesitated in joining exposure game in his attempt to strike success at the box-office. ‘Pachakuthirai’ is stuffed with sleaze, dirty dialogues and the camera is after Namitha’s full thighs and other parts of her body. This rowdy based action flick is likely to attract the attention of the C-grade audiences.
Pachamuthu (Parthipan) is a rowdy, and so, he rules a slum area in Chennai with iron hands. He is gloomy and treats his own mother like a slave. He does things that hurt her. He is always after money. He is ready to do any type of job, provided he is paid well.
On a fateful day, he comes across a bridal feast. He sees the bride Poovu (Namitha) dressing up for the wedding. He begins to like her on seeing her hot and sensuous body. He beats up the groom and marries the poor girl. He tells his mother and other women that he is marrying sooner than expected and sleeps with her.
But Poovu is a kind-hearted girl and she begins to love the people who live with fear of her husband. One day, Pacha pretends to be dead to test the sentiments of his people. But to his surprise, everyone celebrates his death with the exception of his mother. This incident changes him like never before. He becomes a good person and does away with the rowdies consisting of ruthless moneylenders. This way, he becomes a real hero.
Glam girl Namitha is playing a full-length lead role for the first time with this film. She has proved once again that she is the queen of glamour. More importantly, she has done justice to her role. The director has beautifully portrayed her as a glam girl who changes the life of the hero. Parthipan has done this larger-than-life character really well. Sabesh Murali’s songs and background music also have increased its temperature.
Well, people who love sleaze and double meaning dialogues will surely enjoy watching ‘Pachakuthirai’.
