Jassie gift is one of the most happening music directors in Malluwood today. He has been continuously composing good music for quite sometime now. This album is also no different. His music has succeeded in spite of his films failing terribly. His music in films like ‘Ennittum’, ‘Rain Rain Come Again’, ‘December’ and others have done very well at the charts but failed to earn the deserved recognition because of the failure of the films. If not for the fate of his films at the box-office, he should have bagged many accolades. He should choose films with care in order to make it big in music world.

Now, the music director is once again trying his luck with the much-hyped film ‘'Balram Vs Taradas', which has Mammootty playing dual roles with Bollywood heroine Katrina Kaif as his heroine. The album has only two songs, as it is an action thriller. Jassie has composed the numbers with great care and Kaithapram has provided the lyrics. Yesudas, Jassie Gift, Anwar, Afsal and Rimi Tomi have rendered the songs.

“Neelathadakangalo” is a soft and melodious love song beautifully sung by Dr.K.J. Yesudas. The orchestration is unique and heavy equipments were avoided. The lyrics also go along so well with the song. Music lovers will surely love this number. It will steadily climb towards the top of the music chart.

“Matthaapoo” is a foot-tapping dance number with heavy orchestration. This festive song has right mix of voice and music with great beats. Jassie Gift, Afsal, Anwar and Rimi Tomi have sung the song. It’s good to hear Jassie’s voice after some time now. This song will surely become a hit.

In a nutshell, the album is a success. Jassie seems to know the taste of the Malayalee audience pretty well. He has not incorporated Anglican rap or reggae styles for this album. It’s a good show from Jassie yet again.
