This is an album with some fresh, catchy musical scores. Composed by the first timer Rajeindra Shiv the music is impressive and falls soft on ears. ‘Adharm’, a movie written, directed and produced by Adeep Singh has newcomer Rocky Khanna in the main role.
There are six songs in this album written by 5 different lyricists.

The first one 'Maine Kabhi' is sung by the versatile Kavita Krishnamurthy and Sonu Nigam. This musical melody soothes you and makes you yearn for more. The lyrics are by Shahab Allahabadi.  The music has a fair resemblance to the early compositions of Jatin-Lalit.

Second track 'Jaane Kiya Kya' is contemporary in treatment, but the picturisation does not go well with the music. Once again Kavita Krishnamurthy and Sonu Nigam croons, this time on Asad Ajmeri’s line.

Then comes the song 'Tanhayee' that has everything in right place from music to lyrics. The romantic voice of Roop Kumar Rathod succeeds in replicating the melancholic mood of Saeed Rahi’s verses. This classy track looks unsophisticated, but it is not an easy track to croon.

The next song 'Bichadke Apni' is a situational track. This is also sad in nature, but not as intense as ‘Tanhayee’. Mohit Chauhan sings this track.

'Gaon Ki Galiyan' is another situational sad track that succeeds in catching the ear of the listeners. This well written song sung by Mohit Chauhan and Naeem Ajmeri captures the underlying pain effectively.

The last song in this album ‘Jeev Lavega’ is an item number. The music has no unique qualities to make it stand apart from other songs of this genre. Jaspinder Narula renders voice to this Asad Ajmeri verse.

In total the debutant music director has done a great job. He has used the singers to suit his need. This is surely an album worth hearing.
