Darna Zarrori Hai is the sequel to Darna Mana Hai. This is an anthology of seven stories glued together with a central theme ‘Fear’. Directed by seven different directors this movie is going to set a new trend in Indian cinema.

Like all RamGopal Verma movies this one also features three promotional songs and its remixes.  His promotional video plays an important role in the success of his movies. Take for example the promo of his horror flick ‘Bhoot’. The video scared you up. Ram Gopal Varma is trying his time-tested formula again in this album. But to his surprise it fails to promote the movie.

The other songs in this album are from other RGV movies like ‘James’ and ‘Mr Ya Ms’. The music by Taabish Romani and Nitin Raikwar sounds familiar.

The first song in the album is ‘Khabardar’. It has two versions. In the first version ‘Maut ka jayka’ Mohona teams up with Sukhwinder Singh and in the second version ‘Zindagi ka zayka’, a slower one, she is with Kunal Ganjawala.  Even though Taabish Romani, the music director, uses strong western beats and scary sounds it lacks originality.  It comes nowhere close to the usual style of RGV music. The singers had given their best shot. But the song cannot come up in the music charts.

'Aake Darr' composed and written by Nitin Raikwar try to arouse fear in the listeners. When played along with the visuals it succeeds in scaring you up. Once again its Mohona with her high pitch rendering saves the song. The scary sounds used in the song succeed in creating a ghostly feeling in the movie. The remix version is a good dance number.

The last song from the movie DZH is ‘Boo’. Like all the other songs in the movie this Sunidhi Chauhan number is also not up to the mark. The best part of this song is the interlude in electronic guitar. Taabish Romani has written this song.

The album also includes three songs from Mr. Ya Miss' ['Fakr Hai Aurat', 'Fakr Hai Aadmi' and  'Kamsin Kali'] and two from 'James' ['Zindagi Jeene Ka Naam Hai', 'Jaan Hai']. ‘Kamsin Kali’ and ‘Zindagi Jeene Ki Naam hai’ are the two likable songs in this album.

In short the album is not up to the standard of other Ram Gopal Varma movie promotional music albums. The music is very ordinary. It borrows from other Ram Gopal Varma flicks. The background score is far better than the songs.
