It's not funny. Not funny at all. Any and everybody seems to have hopped onto the bandwagon of comedy in Bollywood right now and is hell-bent on making kachumbar of it. Didn't you know that the most difficult art in the world is to make people laugh? So if you thought there was an assembly line production of comedy too, you've got it all wrong. Merely making people blind, deaf and dumb isn't going to tickle the viewer's funny bone. So, if you give us one more physically challenged hero - seem to have lost count of them by now - it's going to be an eggs and tomatoes free-for-all in the multiplexes. Last heard, there's a threat of a deaf Kareena and a blind Kajol in the next few weeks. Of course, not forgetting the X-men of Krrish, Alag and Aparichit. Phew, did anyone say normal is boring!

Well, Tom Dick and Harry is another tired tale of the thakela deaf-dump-blind trio of nice guys who try and make it big in not-so-nice Mumbai. They find refuge with the horny sardar and give him condom boxes as rent. Find that funny? And yes, what's the first thing a blind hero would do in Bollywood trash if he gets his hands on a box of condoms? Time for the balloon sequence in a babalog ka party… eeks!

Trouble enters in the form of apna Austin Powers (Gulshan Kumar) who, like his Hollywood inspiration, plays football with the globe and dreams of becoming the meanest guy in the world. Our heroes put a spanner in his dreams in their bumbling attempts to save their svelte neighbourhood kudi (Celina Jaitely) for his grandiose dreams of global domination. But all the song, dance and sexual innuendoes end up as silly humour with Deepak Tijori drawing a blank at the box office once again. The funny parts? A deaf Dino Morea trying to carry a conversation with a dumb Jimmy Shergill.
