The album of ‘Tom Dick And Harry’ lives up to its tag that says ‘You Can’t Ignore Them’. Yes, the most happening music director Himesh Reshammiya has composed music that you can’t ignore. He has become so hot among the music lovers that curiosity touches the skies every time he takes a step. He has not disappointed this time too. Dino Morea, Jimmy Shergill, Anuj Sawhney, Gulshan Grover, Celina Jaitley and Kim Sharma play the lead roles in the film. Production house Oracle Entertainment, which is known for making sleazy film ‘Fun – Can Be Dangerous Sometimes’ seems to have done lots of refinery work for this film. Deepak Tijori is directing it.
Himesh Reshammiya, Sameer and Music Company T-Series deserve praises for coming out with a beautiful number like “Jhoom Jhoom”. The song has become an instant eye catcher ever since it was shown on the small screens. It has such a quality that would make you glued to the television. In fact, it has the capacity to become another “Dhoom Machale” in a few days to come. Its remix version by Akbar Sami sounds even better. Prashant Chaddha has beautifully sung this foot-taping number. It will become even better after the release of the film. This song would surely make it to the top of the music charts.
“Tanha Jiya Na Jaaye” is another foot-taping rhythmic number. Energy flows throughout the song. Reshammiya sings with moderate pitch unlike his usual high-pitched voice. Ahir has provided him good support. It would appear in the small screen very soon. This number also would hit the chartbusters really hard.
Reshammiya is happening both as a music composer as well as a singer. This number “Tere Sang Ishq” is surely going to make it to the top. You will see it yourself when the music video of this song is released. It is more rhythmic than “Jhoom Jhoom”. Reshammiya has managed to provide variety in spite of composing many songs of late. He sings this song so well with good support from Tulsi Kumar. This song could give Tulsi another hit after successfully lending her voice for “Janebe Janiya” in ‘Aksar’.
“Yeu Kasi Kasi” is a situational song and it would be restricted to the screens alone. It seems to be inspired by folk music of Maharashtra and Goa. It is expected to cast on Kim Sharma, as she plays the role of a fisherwoman in the film. Sonu Nigam and Richa Sharma have sung it. The remix version of the song by DJ Akbar Sami has added energy to this foot-taping song.
“Cheena Re Cheena” is another rhythmic number that Reshammiya is familiar with. The feel of the number suggests that Celina Jaitley might do a steamy dance in this song. Sunidhi Chauhan and newcomer Ahir have rendered it well. You will enjoy both the original and DJ Akbar Sami’s remix version of the song.
“O Mitra Re” is yet another foot-taping number with love theme. It begins with the tunes that you hear in the talkie promos of the film and it will bring lots of fun to the listeners. Kunal Ganjawala has sung this energetic number so well and its remix version adds more beauty. This kind of songs goes down so well with the audience these days, and so, “O Mitra Re” also should do well.
Director Deepak Tijori has been going through a rough phase of late with his films going down the drain. But this time, he has already got good music to assist him. Himesh Reshammiyan has once again lived up to the expectations. He deserves a pat from the back for composing diverse and good music.
