Producer: Guhan, Saravanan Director: Perarasu Cast: Ajith, Sada Music: Bharadwaj
The success of ‘Paramasivan’ has opened up new avenues for hero Ajith. It has enabled him to join hands with hit director Perarasu and noted production house AVM for ‘Tirupathi’. It is the banner’s 167th film and Ajith’s first film with the banner. Perarasu is also hot, as he is fresh from the consecutive success of ‘Thirupachi’ and ‘Sivakasi’. He said that he is aware of the expectations of the audience on him and Ajith. He added that he is under the comfort of Ajith’s commitment and freedom given by the banner.
The director is known for fast screenplay and terrific action films and ‘Tirupathi’ seems to fall into this line. He said that music would play an important role in the film like his earlier films. He added that Bharadwaj has composed five racy numbers including a melody for the film that would satiate Ajith’s fans. In fact, the audio has done very well at the market.
Saravann said that he has been planning to work with Ajith for quite a long time. He added that his son Guhan succeeded in bringing the actor for ‘Tirupathi’. Ajith plays the role of a mike set and serial light operator in the film. He also has lots of punch lines to deliver. His conflict with heroine Sada is said to be one of the highlights of the film.
It’s a good opportunity for actress Sada to act with a big name like Ajith and also with a reputed production house like AVM. It could take her places if she makes use of the chance. She revealed that she plays the role of a naughty girl in this film. She also added that it’s good to be a part of such a good team.
Perarasu takes care of the story, screenplay and lyrics besides directing it. Saravanan handles the camera works, Antony does the editing works and Thota Tharani is the art director.
