Movie Review : Siva Kaasi

Producer: Arjun
Director: Arjun
Cast: Arjun, Jagapathi Babu, Vedika, Gajala, Vijayan, Sunil
Music: D.Imman

Arjun is making his directorial debut with ‘Siva Kaasi’ besides playing the lead role and producing it. No wonder it is an action-packed film because Arjun is the action king. It is all about the mafias in Mumbai and has all the elements to attract the masses. Jagapathi Babu and Arjun have joined hands once again after acting together in 'Hanuman Junction'.

Kasi (Arjun) goes to Mumbai to take revenge on three gangsters who have killed his parents. He falls in love with Anjali (Vedika) at this point of time. He manages to find two of the culprits and kills them. Seeing his immense courage, another don Siva (Jagapathi Babu) also joins him in his endeavor. Siva is in love with Meena (Gajala) and has good rapport with another mafia leader in Mumbai. This causes rife between Siva and Kasi and they part ways with their masters. This makes the mafia rivals to join hands and kill Siva's brother and Anjali. Now, both Siva and Kasi come to know their common enemy. Watch the film to know how the duo takes revenge.

Jagapathi Babu’s performance in the film is impressive with good emotional and fight sequences. Arjun too has done a brilliant job. The way he looks and acts as a gangster is commendable. Heroines Gajala and Vedika have nothing much to do. Vijayan have given justice to his role as a villain and so too is Sunil with his comedy tracks. D.Imman’s musical score is fine.

On the whole, ‘Siva Kaasi’ is enjoyable with lots of action sequences.
