Ashish Kapoor (Akshaye Khanna) and Rani (Ayesha Takia) is a wonderful couple. They love each other very much. But unfortunately, Ashish has a problem. He reaches out for pills whenever he is in tension, so as to get rid of it. However, Rani's family members start making attempts to separate them after coming to know this bad habit of Ashish. On the other hand, Ashish’s friend Rohit (Aftab Shivdasani) has a liking for Rani. In spite of these problems, Rani loves Ashish and sticks to him.

Meanwhile, Ashish mistakes doctor’s diagnosis for hypertension as cancer. Now, his world takes a beating and decides to do something good before he dies. He loves Rani very much, and so, he wants to do something good for her. He plans to make her hate him so that she would not face the pains of his disease. To make Rani hate him, he starts flirting sexy model Sania (Mallika Sherawat). Rani’s world comes crumbling down on seeing the affair. Now, she tells her parents to marry her off to the guy of their choice. They choose Rohit for her groom.

Ashish then realizes that he is not suffering from cancer. So, he has to break up the wedding ceremony to get back Rani into his life. But will he succeed in convincing Rani that she is his true love? Will he able to convince Rani's elder Anna (Suniel Shetty) who is all out to kill him? Will he able to push Sania out of his life? These are the mysteries that director Satish Kaushik solves in the film. It is said to be a good love story film with lots of fun.
