The story is about Leelaram, one of the town’s inhabitants, who earns a meagre source of income through his business selling Malamaal Weekly Lottery Tickets. One day, when the results are declared over the television, he learns that out of the tickets sold, one of them has won the One Crore Rupees Bumper Prize. Since villagers don’t own a TV and most of them being illiterate, Leelaram knows that he is privy to this information. He thinks of a ploy to get the winning lottery back!

He throws a party for the people who have bought his lottery and manages to host the party at the expense of his goat kid, who is treated like a child by his wife. The party is only for the customers on a condition that they get along the lottery tickets as an invite to the celebration. All turn-up except for one - an inebriated Anthony. Leelaram decides to visit him. On reaching his house, he finds Anthony watching the results being declared on television. As he can’t believe he’s the winner, Anthony dies of shock with the lottery ticket still in his hand.

What follows thereafter is a roller-coaster ride of unusual events with surprising twists and turns at every stage. Extremely funny situations, hillarious circumstances lead to a culmination of a laugh riot climax which reveals that Malamaal Weekly Lottery winners...
