After working together in the hit film ‘Villain’ a few years ago, hero Ajith and director K S Ravikumar are joining hands again with ‘Godfather’. It is at last ready for release after staying in the cans for a couple of years. Ajith plays three roles in the film and Malayalee beauty Asin is his heroine. He must be looking forward to this film to give him a new lease of life, as he has been going through a bad phase with most of his recent films including the last release ‘Paramasivan’ not doing too well at the box-office.

Noted music director A.R. Rahman’s music is the highlight of the film. He has even sung a number besides composing the tunes. In fact, the songs of the album are rocking the chartbusters hard. The music director is also looking forward to the film to regain his past glory following a few unsuccessful outing.

Ajith, who plays a triple role of a powerful father and his two sons, is confident that ‘Godfather’ will do well at the box-office. He said that it has shaped out very well with all the ingredients to please his fans. Meanwhile, director K.S.Ravikumar praises the actor to the heavens. He said that Ajith is still among the top five Tamil heroes. He added that his performance in ‘Godfather’ is wonderful.

S.S.Chakravarthy produces the film on Nic Arts Production banner. It also has actors like Kanika, Mansoor Ali Khan, Ponnambalam, Ramesh Khanna, Manobala and Sujatha playing vital roles.
