'Oru Kadhal Seiyveer' is hero S A Santhosh and director Bhargavan’s second film together after ‘Kadhal Seiya Virumbu’, which was inspired by a newspaper’s survey on sex. This new film has a quite different storyline. Kannada actress Archana Kalrani plays the female lead role in this film.

Producer A Selvi was impressed with the climax scene of the film so much so that he has presented a three-sovereign gold chain to the director for the great work. He revealed that the final scene of the film on National award winner actor Chandrasekhar would touch the hearts of the viewers. Sources claimed that there are several kiss scenes involving the hero and other female characters of the film.

The other cast of the film includes Krishna, Ilavarasu, Risha, Sabita Anand and Indian Bhasker. Bharani has scored the music and Visakan is making debut as a cameraman. Indian Bhasker is the choreographer and Saisuresh is the editor.
