‘Paasakiligal’ has brought film industry and politics a step closer. People are curious about it, as DMK Chief M Karunanidhi has provived its story, screenplay and dialogues. It has Prabhu, Murali, Malavika, Nasser, Navya Nair Roja and Manorama playing the lead roles. Rama Narayanan is producing it with Amirtham in the role of a director and Vidyasagar as the music director.

The film is a complete family drama revolving around two families. It is all about how two brothers and a sister adjust to another family that they meet. Director Amirtham said that producer Rama Narayanan is always there to help him out and added that he willingly agreed his suggestion to shoot the film in Rajasthan. He also said that Karunanidhi’s dialogues and lyrics would attract the audience to the theatres.
